Boose

Multidisciplinary Artist

Gregory Buissereth, also known as Boose, is a Chicago-born, second-generation Haitian American artist whose work centers around self-discovery and emotional expression. He earned his BA in visual communications from Northeastern Illinois University.

From a young age, Gregory used his imagination as a means of escape, uncovering deeper parts of himself with each project. While he is experienced in various mediums, his primary focus is acrylic painting, where he explores complex emotions and themes related to resilience, identity, and vulnerability. His work has been exhibited at Adventureland Gallery in Chicago, and he has also written and illustrated two books.

In addition to his painting practice, Gregory works as an art director in advertising, drawing upon his creative vision to merge art and culture.

His dual roles as both a fine artist and creative professional allow him to bridge the worlds of commerce and personal expression, crafting narratives that resonate on both personal and cultural levels.

Gregory continues to live and create in Chicago, shaping art that connects deeply with viewers through vivid storytelling and raw emotional honesty.
